Fresh Tindora is commonly used in the cuisines of Southern India. It is also known as the ‘Ivy Gourd’ but it has less of a gourd-like appearance to them than a resemblance to little cucumbers. They have a pretty green colour, but apparently, they take on a red colour as they age and are not supposed to be good to eat at that point. Buy Fresh Ivy Gourd (tindora) from Germany.


Tindori is perishable and will keep for up to one week when stored in a paper bag in the refrigerator. It can be used in various recipes, stir-fried or slow-cooked.
