Fresh Arbi, also known as taro root or colocasia is an edible form of corn and belongs to the family of a plant called Araceae. It is an underground plant, thick stem and brown in colour that is loaded with essential nutrients.

Arbi has dry skin so it can be easily stored at room temperature. Fresh Arbi can be refrigerated for about a week. Peek off the skin of the arbi when ready for use and boil them or  fry them for softness.
